The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announces that Danny Halel, ACCA manager of standards, received the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Distinguished Service Award.

In honoring Halel, ASHRAE noted that, “It is the volunteer effort of people such as Mr. Halel, which allows ASHRAE to contribute technical advances for the benefit of the industry and public. ASHRAE recognizes that employer support makes participation in Society affairs possible.” Halel was honored on June 23, 2018 at ASHRAE’s Annual Conference in Houston, Texas.

Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president and CEO, said, “ACCA is proud of Danny for being recognized by ASHRAE for his contributions to the HVACR industry.
